Bull City Homebrew News

2/9/2012 - Come see us at the Science of Wine event at NCMLS!

Bull City Homebrew will be at the Science of Wine event at the Museum of Life and Science on Thursday, February 9th from 6-9pm. We'll be showing how you can make wine at home, and why, when it comes down to dollars and cents, you may never want to buy wine in the store again. You must make a reservation to come to the event, which can be done on the event website, or by calling 919-220-5429 x313. If you have kids, there is also a Science of Juice event going on at the same time in the Kidlab. Come out and see us!

1/28/2012 - Brew School is in session!

We're proud to announce Brew School at Bull City Homebrew, an intro class for people who want to learn how to use the standard equipment and make a batch of beer from a recipe kit. The class will run for about a half hour, with open Q&A time afterwards. The cost is free and no prior knowledge of homebrewing is required. Space is limited to 10 people per class, so check out the Brew School page and sign up before space runs out!

12/4/2011 - Cider and grape presses for rent!

So you've made some wine kits and you're ready to try starting with whole grapes. Or maybe you're trying out cider making and want to start with fresh apples instead of juice in a bottle.

Now you can rent both grape and cider presses from us. The cost is $10 per day for each. Take your wine or cider making to the next level by starting with whole fruit and a press from Bull City Homebrew!
